The highly anticipated new igloo experience has finally been released!
To start with, Club Penguin added 1 new mat, 1 red clock with the current Penguin Standard Time, 2 new plants, and 2 brown sofas to EVERYONES inventory (not sure about non-members)! In my opinion, these are some really nice gifts from Club Penguin, huh? Special thanks to Manny138 for letting me know!
There’s also a new “like” option (located in the top-right corner of your screen) which is exactly for that – for you and your friends to like igloos and sort of “rate” them.
There’s also a new Edit button (located in the bottom-right corner of your screen) where you can add igloo designs, delete designs, change designs, make your igloo available for friends or everyone, and of course edit your igloos.
To change from one design to the other simply click one of the igloo icons in the bottom and BOOM! To add a new one, click the + button. NOTE: There’s a limit of
3 designs 4 designs (Special thanks to Wingred for letting us know about the update).
Now, to edit an igloo design simply click on the design you want to edit and click the “Edit” button.
Here you’ll be able to add/remove items, flooring, music, and even REMOVE your igloo to have a nice wide-open space! You will also find the Better Igloos and Igloo catalogs here.
There’s also an updated Igloo catalog to buy new igloo locations. So far there’s only 3 igloo locations you can buy: The mountain, beach, and forest. Though, they’re kinda expensive…
Overall, the new Igloo Experience is amazing! I love the new “no igloo” option and being able to save our floors literally saves us LOTS of coins. However, in my opinion, it’s much harder to find furniture with this new igloo experience. Perhaps, Club Penguin should add a “Show All” option instead of scrolling left and right trying to find the furniture you need. It makes my eyes hurt!
The map has also been updated with a new look and it now shows how many likes each igloo has.
And there’s also 3 new membership messages for non-members when trying to decorate their igloos… (Special thanks to Manny138)
So what do you think? Do you like it or not? I really do! It’s fantastic and I’m looking forward to see what other new experiences Club Penguin is working on.
